BLACK-BROWED ALBATROSS off Hatteras Feb 2012!!!

On Saturday, Feb. 18, we found a Black-browed Albatross less than two miles east of Hatteras Inlet on our way back home from a day of seabirding off Cape Hatteras.  This is the first photographically documented record for North Carolina and one of just a few for North America.  See the trip report and more photos here- http://seabirding.blogspot.com/2012/02/black-browed-albatross-feb-18-2012.html
